A few of the reasons families in Takoma Park and nearby feel at home here.
We keep things small with two mixed-age classrooms for children ages 2 to 6. Older children model for younger ones, younger children reach a little higher, and every child is known by name.
Children choose purposeful work and move at their own pace in a prepared Montessori environment, guided by teachers who follow the child rather than the clock.
We are open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, so the school day works around real commutes and work schedules. We also offer a summer camp.
Still have questions about enrolling? Our frequently asked questions page covers the details many local families ask about first.
The best way to know if we are the right fit is to visit. We offer tours on weekdays at 10:30am, so you can watch a work cycle and meet our teachers.
